How to order
Many websites have automatic forms and “shopping trolleys”, we don’t. We’re not happy being “commercial”, we don’t like the “retail dynamic” that the distribution imposes on us, so we avoid the unnecessary slick sales features and trust that you have enough intelligence to work out what you want and how much it is. If you can’t then email us!
Please print or copy out a list of what you want, total it and post it to us with your payment. (Unless you use Paypal, in which case an email will suffice).
Please don't forget to send us your name and the address you want your order sent to, that might sound obvious but you'd be amazed how often people forget to do so!
The UK and European prices include postage & packing at surface rate, all others should add at least 30% to pay for air mail or we'll send it surface. Big orders from outside Europe might do better asking for a quote. All our prices are in British pounds sterling.
If possible give us alternatives as some stuff goes out of stock quickly. Feel free to enquire after other things or check availability with us by emailing; marta@activedistribution.org
Make sure all cheques / Giro's / Postal Orders are made out to; "ACTIVE DISTRIBUTION", have a UK bank address written on them and are in UK sterling (£).
We don’t do credit cards but you can pay to our Paypal account jon@activedistribution.org (minimum value £5) but please add 5% to cover for Paypal charges. Always put the list of items and prices in the Paypal message box and pease email us separately when you make a Paypal payment.
If you want to send cash then make sure it is well concealed and secure, its your responsibility until we receive it! We will only accept £, euros and US $.
If you live outside the UK and want to send cash then please email us first as it may be possible to arrange a safer method of payment, cash orders sometimes go missing in the post!
If you want a hard copy paper version of our catalogue, (which of course goes out of date quickly) then send us an SAE and stamps (3 x IRC's if you're outside the UK and 4 IRC's outside of Europe). The postage costs for sending out the printed version prohibit our non- profit distro sending them out without getting an SAE with stamps or IRC's, sorry! If you want to receive regular (?) updated email lists then go to our Email-subscription page. Our mail address is short and strange but don't worry it really is;
